Elena - Youtube Kylie Jenner inspired tutorial

After conducting a survey on which celebrity video tutorials you guys would most want, Kylie Jenner was one of the suggested celebrities. This video tutorial is my inspired by a recent Kylie Jenner look, After looking at a few of her most popular makeup looks, I used mostly browns, nudes and golds on the face. For the hair, I tried to make it look effortless like Kylie's. I didn't want the hair too straight so I roughly styled it and put a voiceover over the video with directions of each step. I included all the products used in the video in the description below the video, I hope the video is helpful and you all enjoy!

1. I started my second video off with an introduction about myself and how to achieve this Kylie Jenner inspired hair and make up tutorial.

2. I proceeded the video with a voiceover of each product I used for the makeup. I started with my eyes and continued onto my face and contour.

Ombre Nail Tutorial

Hey everyone!

I recently asked what nail tutorials people would like to see and Ombre was one of the requests, you can obviously use whatever colours you want but I chose to do something quite bright for summer!

1. Tidy up cuticles and shape the edge nail

2. Apply Base coat and allow to dry

3. Apply 2 coats of white varnish and allow each to dry

4. Put some Vaseline on the skin surrounding the nail, this will stop excess varnish going on to the skin

5. Take a latex sponge and apply a line of Relapse and then a line of Wide Awake next to each other  and  repeatedly dab excess on to a piece of paper until you see the colours have blended

6. Then line up the sponge to the end of your nail and dab it up and down a few times but not too firmly, check how the design looks and if it requires more colour just dab the sponge a bit more firmly keeping the colours lined up

7. Once it has all dried apply your top coat

8. Finish by massaging in a drop of cuticle oil

Yin and Yang Nail Tutorial

Hiya Everyone!

I was recently asked to do some nails for a photo shoot and the main colour inspiration was black and white, so I decided to do some Yin and Yang nail art and it was surprisingly easy to do so I wanted to share a quick tutorial with you all!

1. Begin by tidying up cuticles and shaping the nail edge

2. Apply your base coat and allow to dry

3. Apply 2 coats of white varnish and allow both to dry

4. Put a layer of vaseline around the nail to cover skin, obviously all steps are optional but I just recommend this if you don't have a steady hand and often get nail varnish all over your skin which always happens to me on my right hand!

5. Get your black varnish and remove excess from the brush, begin at the free nail edge about 1/4 in from the side you want white and draw a curved line to about half way down the nail bed and fill this in (the photography tutorial below demonstrates this)

6. Now start your next line 3/4 of the way in at the base of your nail bed and curve the line the opposite way from before and join up with existing shape, try to keep the motion as smooth as possible. Fill in any areas and take a cotton bud to clean up any excess that may have gone onto the skin- leave to dry

7. Apply your top coat and again leave to dry

8. Finish your manicure with a drop of cuticle oil on each finger

Iggy Azalea/Cara Delevigne Inspired Hair

This is one of Kohl Face's recent shoots, this is one shoot that I applied my Iggy Azalea inspired hair. The tutorial is a quick and easy way to create a neat and sleek up do that is suitable for shoots, everyday wear and other occasions. With Iggy Azalea becoming increasingly popular in the fashion, music and makeup industry, I hope this tutorial will help and inspired our clients on how to achieve celebrity looks.

With Iggy Azalea and Cara Delevigne becoming the hottest upcoming female artist and model in the fashion and music industry right now, their flawless faces and perfect hair havent gone unoticed! We are loving her slicked back ponytail so thought we would try it out on set of one of our shoots. These are some images that have been taken on set, there will soon be a  video tutorial on how to achieve the look! 

What you'll need:

- Hairbrush
- Comb
- Hairspray
- Hair grips
- Hairbands
- Heat protecting spray
- Hair straighteners

Steps:

1. I started by applying heat protecting spray to the models hair, after doing this, I sectioned each part of the hair and straightened through each area until the hair had no kinks or frizz.

2. After straightening the hair, I used a comb to comb through the front of the hair and applying hairspray along the way to keep the hair in place.

3. When you are happy with how the hair has been combed back, take a hairband and proceed to tie the hair into a simple pony tail. If there are any bumps left in the hair, take your comb and comb the hair spright back into the ponytail. Use hair grips if needed, it doesn't matter if it isn't neat, this will be hidden.

4. Take a section of hair from the models ponytail, wrap the hair around the ponytail where the hairband is holding the hair. Grip the hair into place and apply hairspray for the hair hold. Although hairspray any excess hair to give the look a sleek and neat finish.

Gold Leaf Manicure

Hi Everyone,

I put together this really quick and easy mani/pedi tutorial for you of my holiday nails! I went to Seville in Spain for a week and it was amazing!

My nails are really weak and brittle from weeks of acrylics at college so I decided to do a gel manicure with my at home Sensationail kit, but this could just as easily be done with regular Nail Varnishes!

1. Tidy up cuticles and nails in preparation for your nail design

2. Apply Base coat to fingers and toes and allow to dry (or cure for 30 secs if you're using gel)

3. Choose your desired colour and apply first coat to nails (allow varnish to dry or cure gel     60 seconds)

4. Apply second coat and while still tacky use tweezers to tear off pieces of gold leaf and place them on nail in desired effect. Pat down the gold leaf lightly to ensure it is smooth (dry or cure for 60 seconds)

5. Seal the gold leaf in place with a top coat and allow to dry, or if using gel cure and remove the sticky top layer of the gel

6. Apply some cuticle oil and massage in to finish!
